Alastair McKee

Alastair started his career in financial services at London & Country in Bath (L&C) in 2000 as a Mortgage & Protection Adviser after graduating from the University of Salford with a degree in Business Management. Alastair’s enthusiasm and hard work was soon rewarded as he was promoted into operation and managerial roles, successfully running his own teams and building platforms and sales processes including their Mortgage Academy, before taking on the role of one of their Senior Sales Manager in 2009.

In October 2010 Alastair took the leap of setting up his own company, One 77 Mortgages. As founder and CEO, Al is supported by a number of key Directors from a variety of mortgage and commercial backgrounds. Over the years 177 Mortgages (rebranded in January 2024) has been nominated, and won, several industry awards including ‘Best Large Loan Broker’ in the 2015 British Mortgage Awards. Alastair has a great understanding of the current market trends and regularly attends esteemed industry events to gain insight into the future forecasts of the market, expanding his already in-depth knowledge.

In his spare time Alastair enjoys the simple things in life with his family and dogs and has a keen interest in anything engine and petrol related! He’s also an avid keep fit fan and cyclist.
