Kelly Sjöberg

Kelly started her career in the financial service industry in 2007 as a Portfolio Buy to Let underwriting Assistant at The Mortgage Works, in Bournemouth. She moved from her hometown to Bath in 2008 where she trained and qualified as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser, providing advice over the telephone, at London and Country Mortgages (L&C).

In 2012, Kelly started providing Face to Face advice whilst based in the Andrews Estate Agent offices in Newbridge, Bearflat, Camden & Central Bath under the Andrew Mortgage Services as appointed representatives of Legal & General Mortgage Club.

After returning from maternity leave, in 2016, Kelly started at 177 Mortgages as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser, promoted to Protection Manager in 2017 after winning our “Protection Adviser of the year” award.

In 2018 Kelly started working as an appointed representative of Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) under Smart Advice Financial Solutions (SAFS) based in Bath and the South West of England. Whilst at Smart Advice, Kelly was one of a handful advisers to gain her Specialist Buy to Let licence, helping portfolio landlords with both personal and limited company BTL mortgage advice. Kelly also took on the role of their inhouse Business Development Manager in 2020, working closely with lenders to launch criteria changes and trial technology in the mortgage market.

Kelly returned to 177 Mortgages in 2024, as our Marketing & New Business Development Manager and still enjoys providing Mortgage advice in her spare time to keep her criteria knowledge and mortgage expertise up to date!

When Kelly isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, planning their next adventure and travelling the world! She loves spending time outdoors and has travelled to over 50 countries so far…
